About the Role:
Join ComForCare Home Health Care as a Home Care Caregiver in Coquitlam, BC, where you can make a meaningful difference in the lives of our clients. We are looking for compassionate individuals who speak Filipino, Cantonese, English, or Italian to provide exceptional care and support to those in need.
Responsibilities:
- Provide personal care assistance, including bathing, grooming, and dressing.
- Assist clients with mobility and daily living activities.
- Administer medication and monitor health conditions as required.
- Prepare nutritious meals and assist with meal planning.
- Maintain a safe and clean environment for clients.
- Engage clients in social and recreational activities to enhance their quality of life.
- Document and report any changes in clients' health or behavior to the care team.
- Build strong relationships with clients and their families to foster trust and comfort.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in home care or a related field is preferred.
- Valid CPR and First Aid certification.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Compassionate, patient, and reliable demeanor.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Current criminal background check and references.
- Flexible availability, including weekends and holidays.
