At Home Instead Richmond, we know caregiving is more than a job—it’s a calling. We’re currently looking for a Part-Time Spanish-Speaking Home Support Worker to join our dedicated team and support the growing number of Spanish-speaking clients in the Richmond community.

Key Responsibilities

  • Offer companionship and conversation in Spanish to support emotional well-being

  • Assist with personal care tasks such as bathing, grooming, toileting, and hygiene

  • Help with meal preparation, light housekeeping, and daily routines

  • Accompany clients to appointments, errands, or community outings

  • Maintain clear documentation and updates through our care team

What We’re Looking For

  • Fluency in Spanish (English fluency is also required for training and documentation)

  • At least 1 year of professional caregiving experience, ideally with seniors

  • A valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle is required

  • Kind, respectful, and professional communication skills

  • Ability to pass a criminal background check

  • CPR, First Aid, or Food Safe certification is an asset but not required

Additional Requirements

  • Must reside in or near Richmond, BC

  • Must be legally eligible to work in Canada (Citizen, PR, or valid Work Permit)

  • Must be able to communicate in English for documentation, training, and team communication

  • Preference will be given to candidates who live locally and have their own transportation
